Pleasant

the Hotel was well located for our event.

lots of noise from the pool could be heard in the room, also the room next door was VERY noisy in the evening and then again in the morning, not the Hotels fault I suppose but it marred the stay for us.

Location , car park , warm , clean and tidy , helpful staff

Lift wasn’t working we had a pram with a toddler that we have to take up 2 sets of stairs , front door not suitable for prams or disabled access

Overall ok

Stairs quite mucky, holes in the carpets, Hole in bathroom sink the taps dripped none stop, water in the toilet constantly running this was annoying that’s was the bad points The breakfast was well worth the 8.50 buffet breakfast lovely the swimming pool was small but also nice some staff ok the bar man not so nice bit cheeky to be fair. Bar shuts at 11 no food aloud in bar area at all Location ok only 5 pound taxi to shops

Very Good

The staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was lovely and good temperature with the additional cost. Kids loved it. Breakfast was lovely and evening meal was nice. Kids want to return and we all enjoyed our weekend away.

What was the highlight of Bluewaters Hotel Blackpool

Lovely stay just lacked certain essentials

It was a standard bedsit room which was expected, very warm and cosy and the bed was really comfy. It was generally quiet all night without any disturbances. The room came with a simple tray of coffee and tea provided by the Hotel which was nice, the hotel had its own little bar area which was very convenient if you didn't want to go out for the evening.

The facilties lacked certain things of use, they didn't have a small fridge to put food in or a toaster so we couldn't make toast for breakfast in the morning or chill our drinks. The room also didn't have a hair dryer and the wardrobe was so small we left our clothes in our cases. The shower was also very small with hardly any room to move about in. For the time when we booked we expected to get a room with a sea view but we was placed at the back of the hotel which was disappointing.

Room was clean and spacious enough for a single person .. they have a indoor swimming pool and sauna .. The breakfast was very good .. a decent hotel .. Staff were courteous .. if a little rushed off their feet

Its a little far from were i was walking to most days .. but it did have a bus stop right outside .. so thats a bonus

Dirty, didn’t risk breakfast considering hygiene levels in our room. Believe ours was a refurbished room as modern bathroom. But room was not clean

Bed just a little uncomfy for one of us but have fibromyalgia . Could do with a fan when soooo hot but for the money asking then can’t get everything. Still great

The breakfast had plenty of choice and was served politely and prompt. Room exceded expectations clean very tidy. Pleasant staff and good location. Didn't use pool so can't comment on it's size or cleanliness but everything else was of a high standard all staff polite and informative.

The hotel bar area was very nice and breakfast was lovely.

The room had damp patches on wall and roof in both room and bathroom. In bathroom the shower was all black mildew and shower head dirty and water didn’t flow through it properly. Room had horrible damp smell was in bad need of modernisation.

The staff were lovely! The man on the reception was so welcoming and listened to us when we asked to change rooms, which he allowed. The breakfast was amazing, and set us up for the day!

The beds were so uncomfortable, however, apart from that, everything else was amazing!

Colin did his best to make people feel welcome but unfortunately it needs more than 1 member of staff to give good service to make a good hotel... maybe more staff so they arnt so overworked and a refurb might make this a good hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE .....The hotel was mucky. I booked 3 rooms for my family and even though we complained they sent a cleaner but nothing was any better after. There was a problem with the drains and some of the rooms smelt. My room was on the bottom floor and you were unable to open the window because people were smoking right outside it. The main smoking area was straight outside the hotel entrance. The breakfast was ok.... the service not so good some mornings it was a bit cold and they never managed to get the orders right (until Colin was on duty.. poor man was trying to do his best to make the hotel welcoming...uphill struggle). The Jacuzzi didn't work and you had to ask for the sauna to be turned on. I would have given a 1 but booking.com chose my overall review score.

The staff were lovely and the games room was also ok and the pool is good if weather isn't great . Breakfast was also good .

The hotel room was disgusting with cracked walls and moulded ceiling and mould round windows , very dated in dyer need of upgrade , I did however complain and was moved room and although it didn't have mould still very dated , the room was also situated above pool and sauna which was really uncomfortably warm , we did request fan which to be honest didn't really help , we did make the most of an awful situation although staff I must say were very pleasant and tried to be as helpful as possible . Would not recommend this hotel .

Bar was closed at 20:30 when we wanted a drink jacuzzi not working sauna not switched on till asked then didn’t get warm enough to use. Shower in the room poor barely a drip

The staff were exceptional and Colin went above and beyond in every possible way.

The shower was small and with my partner being 6ft 5” he found it difficult to manoeuvre in. However everything else was great!
